Political Humanity Discussions
Political Humanity Discussions
This page will be a constantly updated post, or discussion if you will, on Politics as it relates to Humanity. I will be using it as a place holder for interesting videos and articles about Politics. I am a Leftist, so my personal position is leftist politics. These discussions will be in that vein, although I will be posting many positions in the spirit of full examination of opposing positions. I have always believed in listening to everyone, even those you disagree with, as long as it's without violence and with respect, so you can learn from each other. I welcome any comments, from anyone. Please be part of the discussion here or on the Socials
This is what we need to be doing; watching these kinds of videos, having these kinds of conversations, discussing the pros and cons of different types of government, studying political science. I'm not preaching to the converted, but to those who know what we have is not working, but don't know any other way. Capitalism is exploitative. It has run it's course. We are suffering because of it. Instead of saying #Murica is the greatest country in the world and putting blinders on, start exploring different types of governance, even if you don't think you might agree with it. Just learn about. There are so many nuances.

Marxism-Leninism - ZahnZee || with Yung-Simba
This was the video that led me down this path to start this page. I loved the style. So all credit goes to ZahnZee and Yung-Simba.
This video IS NOT a fluff piece for "Communism" under the Soviets or Marxism-Leninsm. The video IS a critique of Marxism-Leninsm, the history of it it, how it came about as a political philosophy, the fact that it was not written by Marx or Lenin. This video is very interesting because it's just two young very smart people on a Discord chat, analyzing this political philosophy in apolitical way. Basically like if you didn't get Maths and two math nerds got together and explained all the in and outs of Maths to you in without getting to far into calculations. It's good.

Is Marxism for White Dudes? - Yung-Simba
It's a fair question. It deserves to be explored, but I wouldn't write off Marx just yet. He has plenty to say about class and workers in general that can be applied to people of color and women. Here is a list of books written by people of color, that are Marxist in nature, suggested by Yung-Simba.
Marxist Books Written by People of Color
Black Marxism by Cedric Robinson
Is Prison Obsolete? by Angela Davis
The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B Du Bois
Black Bolshevik by Harry Haywood
Settlers by J. Sakai
Revolutionary Su!c!de by Huey Newton
Wretched of the Earth by Franz Fanon

Fascism and its Forms - ZahnZee || with CognitiveSociety
This is another video by ZahnZee, The young Irish guy I posted earlier with the discussion with Yung-Simba about Marxism-Leninism. This time he speaks with someone called CognitiveSociety. They are having a discussion about the birth and causes of Fascism as it began in Italy, Fascism's political theory, and how Fascism relates to the modern beliefs of some Alt-Right movements. Again, this is an analytical discussion. ZhanZee, the host, is a self described Leftist, but is good enough to have these discussions. Those who aren't as aware of all the minute details of Fascism can learn about all the eccentricities of the ideology that we're totally opposed to, so you can get to the core of any disagreement easier.
